Garden Dip for Summer

Looking for something amazing to bring to your next picnic or party? We got you!

Our Garden Dip for summer is out of this world. You will need a grader and a spatula or food processor with the following grading attachment:

Step 1

Grade & then Strain these ingredients. It is important to strain these items because if not, your dip will be very thin and waterly which will then release the water over time.

  • 2 - Carrots

  • 3 - English Cucumbers

Step 2

Refit the food processor with the blade attachment and add the strained carrot and cucumbers back into the mix. Add the following ingredients with the mix and Combine.

  • 2 - 3 Garlic Cloves

  • 1 cup - Fresh chives

  • 1 cup - Fresh Basil

  • 1 - 8oz brick of cream cheese (use the 1/3 fat if you would like it to be thinner)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Step 3

Enjoy with chips, flat pretzels, crackers or even as a spread for a sandwich. If you think your kids will not enjoy this, I have made this dip twice this summer in my Book & Cook (ages 2 - 6) as well as the Away We Grow program (ages 4-7) and I have been asked so many times for the recipe because their kids love it.

If you want to add a little protein or you want to thin the mix out at all, adding plain hummus is a great solution!
